Founded in 2019, The Horse Blinders bring together talented musicians from renowned Luxembourg bands. The line-up features Roger Melcher on vocals and harmonica, Roland Meyer and Mulles Scholtes on guitars, Jacques Bock on drums, and Ronald Mullenders on bass, quickly establishing themselves as Luxembourg’s new supergroup. Their music blends energetic, intelligent, and playful rock-blues-pop, with Luxembourgish lyrics penned by award-winning author and celebrated cabaret artist Roland Meyer. In 2023, they released their debut album “… an nach ee schéinen Dag” featuring hits like “Hierken oder Mettwurscht”, “D’Buurschter Plage”, and “De Kinnek vum Facebook”. By 2025, they launched “Raufaser”, a collection of 10 new songs dedicated to Luxembourg’s towns and cities, each with its own anthem, performed live across the country. Supported by talented musicians such as Noémie Leer, Candy Windeshausen, and Daniel Eischen, The Horse Blinders continue to celebrate Luxembourgish culture through vibrant music and energetic performances.
